my weekend with sophie

First I had a go with her  brother's light saber.Then we dressed up I wore a pink hat. next we rid to the park and played on the playgrond.and finally I got dinner  and had a good rest.

Skipper's Adventures with Hannah

On Monday I got chosen to be Star of the Week. I got to take Skipper home. On Tuesday I went to Caites house. Skipper stayed at home and had a lovely conversation with my cat Felix. On Wednesday Skipper went to the hospital with my little sister Maddie. She went for an appointment and he kept her company.On Thursday Skipper came to school in soccer clothes because after school I had soccer practice.

Each week I get to go home with the star of the week. I've done some fantastic things this year with all my Room 9 friends. I have even gone to Wellington with James and his family for the school holidays and been with George to the hospital when he got his new cast on.

Skipper's Week At Ollie's

Hi, it’s Oliver here.  This week Skipper stayed at my house. He had a great time. 

On Wednesday (his first day) it was ANZAC day and I was in the parade because I am a Cub Scout.  This was a bit scary when a man kept shouting orders.

On Thursday I had swimming lessons and Skipper stayed in my Bed all day.

On Saturday I took Skipper to my grandparents house for the night.  It was fun because me and Skipper went on the computer.

On Sunday I had 2 bowls of granddads porridge, (which the best porridge).

The Adventures of Skipper the Penguin

Last term for our Inquiry we looked at the dogs that travelled from Quail Island to Antarctica with Scott and Shackleton. We had lots of questions. We learnt how to take notes from non fiction books and with Miss Dippie's help we were able to answer our questions.  We decided that we would make a video blog to share our findings like our friend Shackleton Bear. Skipper our class pengiun helped us with the presenting.

My weekend with James

On saturday I went with James es family to Granny and Grandpas house. When I got there the first thing I did was pat there Labradors named oscar and jasper. They liked me they they bit me it felt like I was one of there chewy toys.But I felt all right in the end.Jasper  is 5  Oscar is 14.Then after all that I went on the trampoline with James, Holly and Emily.  I was the best at it because I could bounce the highest and do the best flips. I could also scream the loudest. All of a sudden I had an idea. We could all go and climb  a tree. OOO ahhh and maybe go and get an apple. So we all went over the apple tree and got one apple each. I spotted some red and white spotted toadstools and of course I thought it was a flower so... I went over and sat right next to it and put my beak up to it ansnand sniffed it and one of the white spots nearly went up my nose!!!!!. Well after that we went over the chickens. They were quite shy, but I was alright. I just wanted to look at one. They looked quite funny because of this red spiky thing was on their head. It sort of looked like crown. Just after that we went inside and had lunch my lunch was fish fingers pie yum yum. just after that we went over to the trampoline and I loved it.Well after that it was time to go we said goodbye and hoped into the car and of went. It was a long way back so I decided to go to sleep. I dreamed that I was going back to Antarctica and I was the king of the penguins, but this other bad guy also wanted to be the king.  The battle was just between me and him.
